We have represented clients in dozens and dozens of jurisdictions, from Florida, to Maine to Alaska to Missouri to California, to name a few. In all of these jurisdictions, we have been recognized for our litigation skills and in many cases, we are appointed to a leadership position in the case to better serve the needs our of clients and the case as whole.
William M. Audet
William M. Audet earned a B.A. from the University of California, Davis, in 1981, a Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1984, where he was the editor of the Golden Gate University Law Review, and completed his formal legal education with a Masters of Law from the University of Wisconsin School of Law in 1987.
After clerking for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Mr. Audet clerked for The Honorable Alfonso J. Zirpoli, United States District Judge for the Northern District of California, and The Honorable Fern M. Smith, United States District Judge for the Northern District of California. While obtaining his Masters Degree in Law at the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Audet was also a clinical instructor on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Mr. Audet’s practice focuses on complex litigation, including class and non-class action claims involving mass torts, product liability, antitrust and consumer class actions.
Mr. Audet is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics and is a co-author of Handling Federal Discovery (9th Ed.)(James Publishing Company). In 2005, Mr. Audet was awarded the Justice Award from the San Francisco Bar Foundation for his financial contribution to the legal community and for his firm’s past pro bono work. Over the years, Mr. Audet has been appointed to leadership positions in a number of important and groundbreaking cases. He has been featured in SuperLawyers Magazine almost since Audet & Partners, LLP was founded.

Susanne N. Scovern
Susanne N. Scovern received a B.A. with highest honors and distinction in Russian/East European Studies and Political Philosophy from the University of Michigan in 1985. In 1990, Ms. Scovern was awarded a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa where she was a member of the University of Iowa Law Review. Over the years, she has practiced a broad range of product liability, mass tort, class action, employment and commercial litigation. Ms. Scovern is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association.
She is active in the Science & Technology and Labor and Employment Sections of the ABA and State Bar. She is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia. Ms. Scovern focuses her work at the firm on defective medical devices and drugs and is currently heavily involved in the prosecution of the firm’s Vioxx cases.
Kevin L. Thomason
Kevin L. Thomason earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from California State University at Dominguez Hills in 1991 and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1994. Mr. Thomason has extensive experience in internet and computer technology and has taught MCLE classes on the internet throughout California. He has written extensively for the legal press on these topics.
His practice focuses on complex litigation and class actions. Mr. Thomason also handles the firm’s internet marketing.
Joshua C. Ezrin
Joshua C. Ezrin received a B.A. with honors in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1995, and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2001. Mr. Ezrin began his practice at the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office, where he gained invaluable litigation experience. Since joining Audet & Partners, Mr. Ezrin has focused his practice on employment and personal injury cases, consumer class actions, and complex pharmaceutical litigation.
Jonas P. Mann
Jonas P. Mann earned a B.A., cum laude and with high honors, in International Affairs from the George Washington University in 2004. In 2007, Mr. Mann was awarded a J.D. from Temple University – James E. Beasley School of Law where he was a member of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mann completed a clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey where he worked primarily on pharmaceutical products liability, employment discrimination, and environmental litigation.
Mr. Mann is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California.
Mariana S. Cole
Mariana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Wake Forest University in 2005, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School in 2008.
In law school, Mariana was a member of the Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property, and completed a year externship with The Honorable Kurt D. Engelhardt, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Prior to joining the firm, Mariana worked at an employment litigation firm in San Francisco, where she represented clients in disputes involving harassment, discrimination, whistleblower, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. Mariana was involved in all phases of litigation, including second-chairing a jury trial.
Mariana is admitted to practice in California.
